science of creep

Crispin Glover for those who don't know, was George McFly from Back to the Future, Willard, and the "thin man" from the the Charlie's Angels movies. But, he is also a nutjob artist and somewhat of an underground cult favorite. Here's an interview he did with David Letterman where he had apparently been on acid. Funny stuff.

Crispin Glover was doing a character from a movie he was promoting. Rueben and Ed. For those of you that have never seen it, "I FEEL SORRY FOR YOUR MOTHER." He might have been on acid, but I doubt it. He was doing a bit like S.B.C. does Ali G or Borat. Too bad he didn't connect with that kick to the face. D. Letterman should crawl inside the gap between his teeth and live there with a horse and not bother anyone.

he definately played a character dressed identically in rueben and ed but the mannerisms were different plus the movie came out 4 years after this interview so i think if anything the look of his character from that film was inspired by the interview, plus i think he was promoting, or was supposed to promote the film river's edge which came out around the same time....and ya, maybe he wasnt on acid...but man, does he need to be...
